Sad SPIDER-MAN 70s Strips! The Final Chapter For the Prowler--And Us!

Last time, we watched as a confused Spidey finally was set straight as to the mysterious Prowler's criminal intentions! And now, even as the reformed crook rushes into the open arms of his appreciative girlfriend, our own sad-sack Spidey returns to his weary and woebegone life. So what else is new, right? Another rare 1979 installment from Stan Lee and John Romita, Sr.!

This is the final installment for the long-running Spidey strips here!
Thanks once again to the generous Steven Thompson for making
these rare clippings available!

Sorry to learn it's the final installment. I really enjoyed seeing these every Sunday. Did you write the intros? They were pretty clever.

I've enjoyed these a lot as well! But if it had to end, it's good to have it end on a high note.

Well, that really stinks. I grew up reading this strip in the NY Daily News. Rereading them on Sunday mornings here at your site was a welcome bit of nostalgia.

Thank you for the experience.
