1999 MARVEL SUPERHEROES Custom Steve Rude Artwork! Spidey! Thor! Iron Man!

How many collectors snagged these terrific VHS box sets during the late 90s? Marvel produced these well-made volumes, each featuring a few episodes of the 1966 MARVEL SUPERHEROES cartoons, as well as the 1967 SPIDER-MAN shows! The best part of these hefty products was the insanely fabulous custom artwork by Steve Rude! Rude always managed to capture the feel, mood, and attitude of the artwork created by the original Marvel art masters, such as Jack Kirby and John Romita, Sr., and he really shows off his skills here! Click below to closely examine these video ventures, real treats for any hard-core Marvelite!

Wow, great Rude art, I had no idea this existed! Around this time I picked up some Marvel pillow cases while shopping with my mother at the linen store. I spied the cover to FF #1 emblazoned on the one side with panels from the ish on the other. When I got them home and opened them, they came with an exclusive mini cardboard poster by the Dude himself featuring exclusive art! Have you ever some across these?

Thanks for the comment!

I have them all!

Picked them up at the time, since classic comic art on ANY product then was a rarity!
