Sub-Mariner Strikes! 1967 Gene Colan Original Marvel Comics Cover Art! Silver Age Splendor!

Wow! Dig this big and beautiful cover art for the famed 60s "split" book, TALES TO ASTONISH! At that time, the book featured stories of both the Hulk and the savage Sub-Mariner, and here is Subby being inked (over pencils by Gene Colan) by his own Golden Age creator, "wild" Bill Everett! Bill was one of the few artists to bridge the gap from comic's infancy (working for Marvel during the 40s), and step into the "modern" age of comics! Bill not only illustrated for the 60s Marvel line, but also co-created Daredevil for the pulsatin' publishers! Take in that delicate line work, over Colan's wonderful action-oriented pencilling!
