Comics artist Jack "King" Kirby is best known (among many triumphs) for co-creating and visualizing the "Marvel Universe" of characters, starting in the early 60s, and continuing through the rest of the decade. Name them: Fantastic Four, Inhumans, Hulk, X-Men, and on and on. But, one of the few successful character Jack was NOT known for is the AMAZING SPIDER-MAN! Stan Lee chose sturdy Steve Ditko as his artistic partner in envisioning the web-slinger (tho Jack was later called in to create Spidey's first cover scene), so it's always a treat (and a bit odd) to see a Kirby Spider-Man drawing!
