Man, that's a pretty frightening story line: home invasion, exploiting and stealing from the elderly, and it seems that they were going to cut poor Pete up before he "fainted". I'm sure it may have surprised more than a few people that Sunday morning! Then again, maybe people were thicker-skinned about their comic strips back then.
